"Yesterday is history… the present is a gift.

And the body is where we learn to receive it."

My story

Movement was my first language.

As a child, I felt free in my body — climbing trees, dancing, running, exploring. Movement wasn’t about performance. It was joy. Expression. Aliveness.

But over time, that relationship changed.

What began as passion slowly turned into control. I learned to use discipline, achievement, and how my body looked as measures of worth. From the outside, I seemed strong and capable. Inside, I was disconnected — from my needs, my emotions, and my body’s signals.

That disconnection eventually showed up as an eating disorder. Not because I lacked willpower, but because my nervous system didn’t feel safe. Control became my way to cope.

When I moved to Portugal, the strategies that had helped me function stopped working. My body weakened. My energy dropped. And for the first time, I couldn’t out-discipline what I was feeling.

What I thought was a physical struggle was actually a nervous system asking for safety.

Healing didn’t come from trying harder. It came from learning to soften. To listen. To regulate. To be with emotions instead of managing or suppressing them.

That’s when everything shifted.

I stopped trying to fix my body and started building a relationship with it. I learned that wholeness isn’t created through control — it grows through safety.

Today, this is the work I guide others through.

Because so many high-functioning women are not lacking knowledge, strength, or discipline. They are exhausted from holding it all together while feeling disconnected underneath.

You don’t need more pressure.
You need a body that feels safe enough to exhale.

And there is a way back to that.

Why work with me?

Because this isn’t work I learned only through books — it’s work I had to live.

I know what it’s like to function, achieve, hold it all together… while feeling disconnected underneath. To understand emotions intellectually, yet still feel stuck in the same patterns. To try to “fix” yourself without ever feeling truly safe in your own body.

My path brought me back — not through pushing harder, but through learning how to create safety within my nervous system. That’s where real change began.

With a background in sports therapy, personal training, yoga, somatic coaching, and mindfulness, I don’t see you as a problem to solve. I see a system that adapted intelligently — and now needs gentleness, not more pressure.

Our work isn’t about optimization.
It’s about regulation.
It’s about coming home to your body.
It’s about feeling whole enough to finally exhale.

I’m here to guide you into the kind of safety where your body softens, your emotions become less overwhelming, and you can respond to life from presence instead of survival.

This is where heart and body reconnect. And from there, everything changes.

  • Basic Principles of Somatic Experiencing®

  • Integrative Somatic Parts Work (Levels 1–3), supporting emotional integration and inner system healing

  • Ongoing study and practice in mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and body-centered therapeutic approaches

  • Advanced yoga education (600+ hours) across Vinyasa, Yin, and embodied movement practices integrating breath and regulation
